Frank August Small Batch is a Kentucky straight bourbon, distilled, aged and bottled in Kentucky. It is a blend of hand-selected barrels, bottled at 50% ABV without chill-filtration, and it comes in a thick clear-glass decanter-style bottle with a cork stopper.
The nose is toasted vanilla, cinnamon bark, dried citrus, caramel, nutmeg and sweet pipe tobacco. The palate is bold and velvety, with dark toffee, sweet oak, cracked pepper, baking spices and ripe orchard fruit. The finish is long and warming, with charred oak, clove, orange zest and vanilla bean.
