Frank August Small Batch is a high rye Kentucky straight bourbon, distilled, aged and bottled in Kentucky and sold in a 75cl bottle.
Each batch is built from roughly ten to 15 barrels, blended to a chosen flavour profile and lightly reduced to 100 proof, which is 50% ABV, before bottling.
The nose is caramel and vanilla with warm oak and mild baking spices. On the palate, caramel and vanilla are joined by cinnamon and rye bread spice, then brown and malt sugars. The finish is medium to long, with vanilla, oak and baking spices.
