Frido London Dry Gin (50cl, 46%)

Frido is the first London Dry Gin produced in Basilicata, made in small batches by one-shot distillation in a copper still. It uses local and traditional botanicals, including mountain juniper, dog rose, bay leaf and wild fennel from the Lucanian valleys. The gin is clear and bright. The nose shows mountain juniper, fresh herbal notes and a delicate floral background. The palate is fresh and rounded, with coriander seed notes, a dry, clean and persistent profile, and angelica root adding structure and harmony. It is suited to Negroni, Martini and highball serves. The distillate won a gold medal at The Gin Masters 2023 in London.
