Frido Navy Strength Gin (50cl, 57%)

Frido Navy Strength is a high-strength gin from Basilicata, inspired by the Tyrrhenian coast and the scents of Mediterranean scrub. It is made by a one-shot method and distilled in a traditional copper still. The gin shows clear, transparent colour with a light oily texture. Its aroma brings Mediterranean citrus, rosemary, thyme and a marked saline note. On the palate it is soft and round, with lemon zest freshness, herbal and slightly savoury mid-palate notes, and a clean, dry, persistent finish led by juniper with pepper and angelica root. It suits neat serving, with ice, or in cocktails such as Negroni and Martini.
