Gamla Cabernet Sauvignon & Merlot 2021 is a red wine from vines on the Golan Heights in Israel.
It blends Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, with aromas of blackcurrant, sour cherry, sweet spice and a light herbaceous note, plus vanilla, cedar and dark chocolate from ageing in oak barrels. On the palate it is full-bodied, with elegant tannins, good acidity, ripe fruit, toasted notes and a long, persistent finish.
It suits red meat, game, aged cheeses, braises and stews.
