A Sangiovese made from 100% Sangiovese grapes, aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. The vineyards run from the shores of the Sea of Galilee to the base of Mount Hermon, on volcanic basalt soils in a temperate climate. Ruby red with garnet reflections, it shows raspberry, cherry and mandarin, with pot-pourri, earthy and leather notes. Medium-bodied and structured, with clear varietal character. Pair with substantial meat dishes such as roasts, braises or game.
