Georges Remy Les Quatre Terroirs Extra Brut Premier Cru

This is an Extra Brut Premier Cru Champagne from Georges Remy, made from fruit grown in the villages of Bouzy, Ambonnay, Tauxières and Louvois. It is farmed organically and biodynamically. Pinot Noir leads the blend, with Chardonnay completing it. The wine is vinified on fine lees in new casks and in casks that have held several other wines, and the long time spent there gives it a finely oaked character and a vinous depth. That sits alongside the liveliness the vineyards give it, making a Champagne that feels complete.
