Gewurztraminer Rheinhessen Trocken (13.5%)

A dry white wine from Rheinhessen made by Dr Fischer - Hofstatter. It is produced in the Trocken style, giving marked dryness alongside aromatic character. Golden yellow in colour, it has intense aromas of rose flowers, litchi and exotic spices, with hints of honey and vanilla. The palate is silky, with balanced acidity against the sweetness of the aromas, and flavours of ripe white-fleshed fruit such as peach and apricot. It pairs with aromatic dishes, spicy Asian cuisine and seafood, and works well as an aperitif.
