Giacondi Vino d'Italia Rosso (3L)

A red wine from Giacondi, presented in a 3-litre bag-in-box. It is a blend of Italian grapes, made for everyday drinking. The wine shows an intense ruby red colour with bright reflections. On the nose there are ripe red fruits such as cherry and plum, with delicate spice and a light hint of vanilla from brief ageing in wood. On the palate it is soft and well balanced, with present but unobtrusive tannins and a velvety texture. The finish is pleasantly persistent, with a light note of dried fruit. It suits pasta dishes, white and red meats, or drinking with friends.
