Merlot Vino Varietale d'Italia (3L)

A Merlot from Italy, presented in a 3 litre bag-in-box. It shows the typical character of the grape, with softness and an enveloping style. Ruby red in colour with violet reflections, it has aromas of ripe cherry, plum, sweet spice, herbaceous notes and cocoa. On the palate it is balanced and softly tannic, with a full, persistent flavour and a fruity finish. Suited to meat dishes, aged cheeses and savoury first courses.
