Gin Kaikyo Hyogo 135° East is a gin produced in Hyogo prefecture, Japan. It takes its name from the longitude of the Akashi district. Local botanicals include yuzu leaves, sansho, traditional tea and cherry blossom.
On the palate it is soft and balanced, opening with yuzu citrus, followed by spice complexity and a light floral, herbaceous finish. The finish is clean and refreshing. It is suited to drinking neat, over ice or in cocktails.
