A seven-year-old peated single malt from the Lowland distillery Glasgow 1770, distilled in 2017 and released as Small Batch No.01. It is bottled at cask strength and comes in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was matured entirely in Marsala wine casks, which gives the smoky spirit a wine-led character alongside the peat.
The distillery's notes describe toffee apple, roasted peach and stone fruit, with salted caramel sweetness. Smoky bacon and white pepper add savoury spice, and a streak of blackberry from the wine cask runs through it.
