Glasgow 1770 Peated is a single malt from The Glasgow Distillery Co., double distilled from peated malted barley and sold in a 70cl bottle. It is one of the three whiskies in the Signature Range.
The spirit is first matured in virgin American white oak, then finished for eight to twelve months in Spanish Pedro Ximénez sherry hogsheads.
It is described as having aromas and flavours of smoky barbecue, dark fruit and flamed orange zest, with sweet smoke balanced against the sherry cask.
