This is a 30 year old Glenlossie from Speyside, released by Gleann Mór Spirits in its Rare Find range. It was distilled in 1992 and matured in a single refill sherry butt until it was bottled in 2023 at a cask strength of 55.2%, with natural colour and no chill filtration. The outturn was 272 bottles, and it received a silver medal at the World Whiskies Awards 2025.
Apricot, fudge, banana and butterscotch lead the nose. The palate is warm and spicy, with oak, creamy vanilla and sherried dried fruit, and the long, creamy finish carries bitter chocolate.
