Glen Albyn – 1978-2003 25 Year Old Signatory Vintage Single Cask 698 (70cl, 43%)

This is a single cask 25 year old Glen Albyn, a Highland single malt bottled by Signatory Vintage at 43% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. It was filled into cask 698 on 22 February 1978 and bottled on 29 October 2003. The cask is recorded only as oak, and it yielded 366 bottles. No colouring was added. Glen Albyn stood in Inverness on the Caledonian Canal and used Loch Ness water. It was founded in 1846 and demolished in 1983. Most of its output went into blends, so official bottlings are few.
