Glen Albyn 43 Year Old is a Highland single malt from a distillery that closed in 1983. It was distilled on 19 September 1979 and matured for over four decades in a single refill sherry puncheon. Gordon & MacPhail bottled it on 9 January 2023 as Recollection Series #2 of its Private Collection, in the Lost Distilleries range. Only 95 hand-blown crystal decanters were produced.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
