Glen Cooper Teaninich 5 Year Old

This is a 5 year old Highland single malt from Teaninich Distillery, bottled independently by Glen Cooper. Teaninich was founded in 1817 and is best known as a component of Scotch blends, so a single malt bottling gives a clearer view of the distillery's own character. At five years old, the emphasis is on fresh spirit alongside the influence of the cask. The nose combines fresh fruit and malt with vanilla, cereal notes and gentle spice. On the palate, young freshness meets fruit, malt and cask sweetness, with subtle oak and spice leading to a clean, warming finish.
