This is a 15 year old single cask Glen Elgin from Speyside, distilled in 2008 and bottled by Berry Bros & Rudd for their Glens & Valleys Single Cask Collection. It comes from a hogshead finished in Moscatel casks, and was bottled at 55% without chill-filtering in a 70cl bottle. Just 238 bottles were filled.
Glen Elgin is known for fruity sweetness and a distinct nuttiness, and the Moscatel finish adds to that. Expect a delicate floral aroma and rich layers of dried fruits and honeyed nuts.
