Glen Elgin is a Speyside distillery named after the town it lies to the south of. It was built in 1898, changed owners often and now belongs to Diageo. It was expanded to six stills in 1964.
Murray McDavid was founded in 1994 and is known for maturing whisky in a wide range of casks, including sherry. It is based at the closed Coleburn Distillery in Speyside.
