This is a single cask Glen Garioch, a 12 year old from 2012, bottled at 56.8% ABV in a 70cl bottle for the Cadenhead's Club. It was released in 2024.
The whisky was re-racked into a Pedro Ximénez cask in 2020, which gave this Highland malt plenty of added flavour.
The nose offers ginger wine, cranberries and dark fudge. On the palate there are hessian sacks, Bakewell tart and biscotti, and the finish is meaty, with leather and toasted almonds.
