Glen Garioch 12 Year Old is a single malt Scotch whisky, bottled at 48% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Its sweet fruit and clean barley character is described as a match for Parmigiano-Reggiano.
The colour is that of sharp honey. The nose has heathery floral notes alongside poached pears and sweet malted barley.
On the palate, crème brûlée and ripe banana come first, then light oak and pear. The finish is long, smooth, creamy and fragrant.
