This is a Glen Grant 10 Year Old single malt from the 1970s, bottled at 43% ABV. It has a gold colour. The nose opens with plenty of tea and camphor, then turns meaty, with smoked ham, overripe apples and quite a bit of peat. The palate brings tea, pepper, chlorophyll, bitter caramel and bread crust, growing steadily more toasted and smoky. The finish is medium, nicely toasted and roasted, with plenty of praline.
