A Glen Grant from the 2010s, without an age statement, in a one-litre bottle at 40% ABV. Gold in colour, it shows a smoky, peaty character that recalls an old Highlands style, with a sooty, ashy side. The nose is smoky, with grass, bread and yeast. On the palate it is citrusy and mineral, with some body and structure, then green tea and a touch of brine. The finish is quite long, malty, salty and ashy.
