A 16-year-old Speyside single malt from Glen Grant, distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2026 by Gordon & MacPhail for its Connoisseurs Choice range. It comes from a single sherry hogshead, with 261 bottles produced, each in a 70cl bottle. The cask was matured for the full term in sherry wood and the whisky is bottled undiluted. The nose has festive spices, mulled berries, raisin, lemon zest, demerara sugar and beeswax polish. On the palate, red apple mixes with bitter orange and milk chocolate, followed by subtle smoke and fresh peppermint leaves. The finish is full, with lingering grapefruit and mature oak.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
