This is a Speyside single malt from Glen Grant, distilled in 1951 and bottled in 2013 at 61 years old by Gordon & MacPhail. It is a licensed bottling, now placed in their Distillery Labels series, at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It was bottled from a micro batch of two sherry butts, one first fill and one refill. Gordon & MacPhail's long-aged Glen Grants are typically marked by tropical fruits, honey, beeswax, spice and exotic wood, and that is what to expect here.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
