This is a Glen Grant single malt from Speyside, distilled in 1954 and bottled in 2012 by Gordon & MacPhail at 40%, in a 70cl bottle. It belongs to the range now known as Distillery Labels. The whisky was matured for its full term in fresh sherry casks, which gives it a dark colour and a direct sherry influence. It is described as showing plenty of chocolate, dark fruit and spice, along with tropical richness and natural tannins.
