This is a 27 year old Speyside single malt from Glen Grant, an independent bottling by Signatory Vintage in its Cask Strength Collection. It is bottled at 49.1% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was distilled on 31 May 1995 and matured in two bourbon barrels until it was bottled on 23 November 2022. The outturn was 384 bottles.
The nose is rich, with peach preserve, beeswax, orange, vanilla and almonds. The palate is creamy and well balanced, with peach, mango, sugar, salty notes and a hint of oak. The finish is long, with hints of grape and hay.
