This Glen Grant was distilled in Speyside in 1996 and matured for 28 years in a refill American hogshead. Gordon & MacPhail bottled it on 10 March 2025 as part of its Connoisseurs Choice range, at a cask strength of 47.1%. The single cask gave 182 bottles, and the whisky is non-chill-filtered with no added colour.
The nose combines ripe apricot and zesty grapefruit with honeysuckle and a touch of vanilla. On the palate, sweet citrus and syrupy pear meet white chocolate and fine oak spice. The medium finish brings ripe honeydew melon, gentle pepper, sweet malt and a creamy texture.
