Glen Grant 57 Year Old is a Speyside single malt distilled in 1967 and bottled in 2024 by Gordon & MacPhail. It matured in a single refill sherry hogshead, number 5571, and belongs to The Dram Takers Collection. The label design draws on the medieval illuminated pages of the Book of Kells, with Celtic motifs. The nose combines green apple, citrus and sweet vanilla over a light oak spice. Dark chocolate, roasted nuts and pepper lead the palate. The finish is very long and dry, with aniseed and the toasted character of old oak.
