Glen Moray 12 Year Old is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky from the distillery at Elgin, on the River Lossie. It is bottled at 40% ABV in a 750ml bottle.
The spirit is distilled from 100% malted barley in short, stout copper pot stills, then matured for twelve years almost entirely in first-fill American oak ex-bourbon barrels.
The nose is ripe pear, green apple skins, clover honey and vanilla toffee. On the palate come caramelised apples, golden syrup and rhubarb sweets, with digestive biscuits, white chocolate and toasted oak. The finish is medium, with vanilla, acacia honey and lemon zest.
