This is a Glen Moray single malt, aged 14 years in a fresh bourbon barrel and bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It comes from the Alba Trail series, in which casks are selected from a collection built up over fifteen years. The series is bottled in natural colour and without chill-filtration.
The nose offers grapefruit, ripe pear and apple strudel with vanilla sauce, with mint and beet syrup behind. The palate brings white chocolate, vanilla ice cream, stewed pears, gooseberry and meringue. The finish is fruity and dry, with sweet wood.
