Glen Moray – 18 Year Old Elgin Heritage (70cl, 47.2%)

This is an 18 year old Speyside single malt from Glen Moray, part of its Heritage Collection, in a 70cl bottle at 47.2% and non-chill filtered. It was matured entirely in American oak. The casks are first-fill and had not held single malt before, so the spirit takes its character directly from the wood. It is described as full of spice, oaky intensity and caramelised fruit, with vanilla, oak and toffee from the casks.
