This Glen Moray is a 17 year old single malt from the Private Cask Collection, distilled in 2005 and matured in a Burgundy cask. It is bottled at 58.3% in a 70cl bottle, without added colour and without chill-filtration.
The nose is full of fruit: warm raspberries, juicy plums and elderberry syrup, alongside cinnamon, cloves, almonds and oak. The palate is full-bodied and fruity, with blueberry muffins, cherries, raspberries, red grapes and dates, plus gentle spice and oak. The finish is long, with fruit and soft spice.
