This Glen Moray is a Speyside single malt from Murray McDavid's Cask Partnership Series. It was distilled in 2017 and bottled in 2026 at a cask strength of 55.3%, after eight years in total. The edition is 1,273 bottles in 70cl, without colouring or chill-filtration. The last four years were spent in Pedro Ximénez barriques from the Bodega Ximénez-Spínola, which gives the whisky its sherry character. The nose brings intense fruit sweetness, hazelnuts, dried dates and ripe red berries. The palate is creamy and powerful, with dry spice and rich sherry sweetness. The finish is long and warming, with sweet sherried fruit and oak spice.
