It is Edition No. 40 in Blackadder's Raw Cask Statement series, drawn from cask 4563 at a cask strength of 51.5% in a 70cl bottle. The whisky is bottled without filtration and may show sediment. The outturn was 104 bottles. In the tasting notes, butterscotch and dense vanilla sit at the centre, alongside dry antique wood and polished leather. Toffee, mellow spice and a malted sweetness follow, and the finish is long and warming.
