Glen Moray Classic is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky from the distillery in Elgin, bottled at 40% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It is matured entirely in first-fill ex-bourbon casks.
The nose brings citrus peel, butterscotch and baked shortbread, with green apple and tropical fruit behind. On the palate, malty toffee and a maple-like sweetness lead to blackcurrant and lemongrass, with crisp citrus later on. The finish is medium, with caramelised citrus fruit, gentle spice and a faint wisp of smoke.
