Glen Moray Elgin Classic Peated is a single malt from the Classic series of the Scottish distillery Glen Moray, in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV. It is the peated counterpart to Glen Moray Elgin Classic.
It is made from malted barley and water from the Lossie, and matured in ex-bourbon casks.
The colour is amber. The nose is smoky, with vanilla, citrus fruit, rhubarb and a little leather. On the palate, vanilla runs alongside smoky and spicy notes, with light citrus in the background. The finish is long, with a faint note of campfire.
