Glen Moray Phoenix Rising Charred Oak Casks is a Speyside single malt, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle.
It matured first in bourbon casks, then had a second maturation in newly charred virgin American oak, a finish seldom used at the distillery. The name is a nod to the mythical phoenix and its rebirth.
Tasting notes mention caramel, ginger and milk chocolate.
