A 17 year old Highland single malt from Glen Ord, distilled in 1987 and bottled by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society as single cask 77.9, titled A Tennis Court Whisky. It is one of 188 bottles made for the US market, at 57.8% ABV in a 75cl bottle.
The label belongs to the Society's oldest format, which ran from 1983 until 2006. The larger 75cl size reflects its release in the USA rather than the UK.
The Society's code system gives the distillery as the first number and the cask as the second.
