This is an 11 year old Glen Scotia single malt, released for the 2023 Campbeltown Malts Festival. It is lightly peated and was finished for 12 months in white Port casks, then bottled at 54.7% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose brings cooked peaches, lemon blossom and spiced apple compote, with a hint of sea-washed pebble. On the palate come dark treacle, polished sandalwood and sticky dates, balanced by a gentle savoury smoke. The finish is sweet with white grape and runny honey, and a touch of clove.
