Glen Scotia – Victoriana

Glen Scotia Victoriana is a single malt Scotch whisky from Campbeltown, finished in deep charred oak. It is bottled straight from the cask without filtration. The oak finish gives a subtle wood and vanilla character, with a full-bodied, spicy fruit aroma and a mildly smoky aftertaste. The nose is led by oak, with creme brulee, caramelised fruit and polished oak. The palate opens sweet and concentrated with jammy blackcurrant and a big mid palate, tightening towards the back and turning more austere with water. The finish is clean and sweet at first, with green bean and cocoa.
