This is an 8-year-old Glen Scotia single malt, distilled in 2014 and bottled in 2022 at 54.9% in a 70cl bottle. Only 300 bottles were filled.
The whisky matured for eight years, including a finish in a first-fill Pedro Ximénez cask.
The nose brings sticky dates and figs with fragrant spices and fresh orchard fruit. On the palate, charred brown sugar leads to cooked spiced apples, flaky pastry and sweet liquorice, with nutmeg and crystallised ginger. The finish returns to juicy fig, dark honey and treacly molasses.
