This is a 10 year old Glen Spey, distilled in 2016 at the distillery in Rothes, Moray, in the centre of Speyside. Glen Spey is known for a light, delicate and grassy malt.
The spirit spent just over two years in a cask that previously held imperial rye beer from Wasted Degrees, which gave it a new character. It was bottled in 2026 by Morrison Distillers for their Càrn Mòr collection, at natural colour and without chill filtration.
The notes mention stone fruits, gentle spice and orange marmalade, with a coating texture.
