Glen Spey 12 year old is a Speyside single malt released in Diageo's Flora and Fauna series. The label shows a goldcrest, a bird that commonly nests near the distillery. It was matured in bourbon casks and comes in a 70cl bottle.
The distillery began in 1878 as the Mill of Rothes and took the name Glen Spey in 1887, when James Stuart sold it to the London gin company W&A Gilbey. It went on to supply whisky for the J&B blend.
