Glen Spey – 14 Years Old Benchmark

This is a 14 year old single malt from Glen Spey, described as the smallest and least known distillery in Speyside. It was bottled in 2023 by Murray McDavid for their Benchmark collection. A long fermentation gives the spirit an oily, nutty style, and maturation in sherry oak adds richness. The whisky is bottled at natural cask strength, with natural colour and no chill filtration. The release is limited to 181 bottles. It is described as a fruity, rounded malt.
