This Glen Spey was distilled in January 1999 and bottled in February 2015 at 16 years old. It is part of the Old Particular range from Douglas Laing, with 224 bottles filled from a single refill hogshead.
The nose is fruity and sweet, with freshly baked sponge biscuits and sweet barley. The palate starts malty, then moves to more fruit, vanilla and a hint of ginger and spice. The medium finish is fresh and ends dry, with orange peel.
