This is a single cask Glen Spey from Gordon & MacPhail's Connoisseurs Choice Cask Strength series. It was distilled in 2008, matured for 15 years in a refill bourbon barrel, number 16601706, and bottled on 22 April 2024 at 55.6%. The barrel gave 204 bottles of 70cl, and the whisky is non-chill-filtered and without added colouring.
The nose is sweet, with barley sugar, lime and kiwi. The palate brings juicy apple and ripe banana alongside citrus fruit. The finish is lively and fresh, with a touch of menthol.
