This is a 2009 Glen Spey single malt bottled at 55% by Berry Bros. & Rudd in its Glens & Valleys series. It is natural colour and non-chill-filtered.
The nose combines ripe orchard fruit soaked in honey with vanilla, caramel and a light oak spice. On the palate come stewed apples and peaches, softened by the sweetness of Sauternes, with warming ginger and a hint of nutmeg.
The finish is long, leaving sweet fruit and honey.
