A Speyside single malt from Glen Spey, distilled in June 2010 and bottled in 2021 at 55%. It was matured in American oak and then finished in Calvados casks, and only 354 bottles were filled. It forms part of the Cooper's Choice series from The Vintage Malt Whisky Co.
The nose is delicate, with tropical fruit, apple skin and vanilla. The palate is medium in body, with pear drops and apple cake, nutty vanilla and spice. The finish is fairly short and gently dry.
