Glen Wyvis Single Malt 2019 Batch 01/19 (46.5%)

This is the third single malt release from GlenWyvis, a community-owned distillery in the valley of Ben Wyvis in the Scottish Highlands. It is bottled at 46.5%. A fire in the fuel store of the distillery's biomass boiler late in 2019 disrupted that year's output. The team responded by bringing together winter and summer runs made from concerto and laureate barley, and filled them into red wine, Moscatel and marsala casks. The malt is young, and it is described as showing sweet fruit and spice.
